George Washington Brazil while looking for his father's, Jesse Light Brazil,  horse came upon a lynching on Cain (sp?) Notes for AGNES EVALEE BOWDEN:

Agnes had TB as a young lady, Small pox, cancer of the colon when she was in her 70's and lived to be 96 years of age.  In her failing years she moved from Idabel, OK and came to live with her only daughter and when anyone would visit she would show her old pictures of her famiy and had a sharp mind well into her 90's at which time she started having mini strokes and then she suffered from dementia.  She was a wonderful christian lady and read to me a lot of Bible stories and taught our Sunday School class when I was a very young girl.  She also taught us how to bake cookies and cakes and bay-sat us a lot while mother worked.  She died on her birthday and her birthday gift was heaven, for if anyone make it, she did.  (Granddaughter of Agnes information)
