This Indenture made this Eleventh Day of May in the Year of our Lord One Thousand and Eight Hundred and Eight Between Henry Brown of the State and County aforesaid of the one part and Stephen Kirk of the same State and County of Jones of the other part; Witneseth that the said Henry Brown for and an inconsideration of the sum of four hundred and fifty dollars to him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted , bargained and sold unto the said Stephen Kirk one certain tract or parcel of land (situate?) lying and being in the County of Jones containing two hundred two and an half acres be the same more or less, which tract of land is known  and distinguished by number fifteen in a plan of the tenth district of Baldwin now Jones County Granted to Mary Wooton on the Thirty First day of Dec. 1807 bounded on the N.W. by lot No. 14 S. W. by lot No. 8, S. E. by lot No. 16, and N.E. by lot No. 30 and the said Henry Brown and his heirs will warrant and defend the aforesaid tract of land and premises together with all and singular the rights members and appurtenances thereunto belonging of all and every other person or persons land against every other claim whatsoever unto the said Stephen Kirk his heirs and assigns forever in Fee simple.  In witness whereof the said Henry Brown hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his Seal the day and year above written, Signed, Sealed and delivered in presents of:
