This Indenture made this twenty sixth day of April in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Eleven between William Hunt of this County and State aforesaid of the one part and Stephen Kirk of the County and State aforesaid of the other part witneseth that for and in consideration of the sum of fifty dollars to him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath granted, bargained and sold, and by these presents doth grant, bargain, sell alien and confirm unto the said Stephen Kirk a certain tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in the County aforesaid, containing eleven and seven tenth acres, beginning at a forked dogwood and running South 45 degrees West 17.77 Chains to a White Oak thence North 18 degrees West 5.50 Chains to a hickory thence North 11 ½ degrees East 5.70 to a Wahoo thence South 45 degrees East 8.15 Chains to said Forked dogwood being a part of lot No. 29 adjoining No. 28 on the South East and No. 38 on the North East in the tenth district of the county aforesaid, and I the said William Hunt doth warrant and defend the right and title of said tract of land from me my heirs, executors, administrators assigns and all other persons whatever to him the said Stephen Kirk his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns to have and to hold all and singular the rights members and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining forever in fee simple.
