The state of Arkansas, to all to whom these presents shall come. Greeting: Know ye that in pursuance of (Levi?) William Kirk (senior?), has applied to that Commissioner of Immigration and State Laws for a donation of the right of that State of Arkansas to the following described host of land situated in the county of Sevier in same state rg:

Which said host of land has been forfeited and offered at public auction by the auditor and not sold. Now know ye that I, W. R. Miller as Auditor of State, Arkansas for and in consideration and infor condition that the said above named applicant willy, wholey and assumably pay or assure to be paid, the State and County taxes which shall hereafter accrue, infor that above described, do by these presents grant and convey to him and his heirs assign forever all the rights, (tills?) and interest of this State of Arkansas and (assure?) in and to this host of land above described, in conditions as presented by law and as herin aboved stated. To have and to hold (forever?) (infor said condition) as now held (now?) by the said State, unto him the said granter and to his heirs (grant?) (assigns?) forever. In testimony whereof I W. R. Miller, Auditor of State Arkansas, hereunto set my hand and affix my (office of?) seal at Little Rock Arkansas, this 12th day of October 1875.
