MRS. LUCY L. KIRK

Mrs. Lucy Loma Kirk, 83, of Horatio, died at 11:05 A.M. Friday, June 16, at her home. Services were held Monday at 2 PM at the Horatio Assembly of God Church with the Rev. J. L. Walker officiating. Burial was in Dennison Cemetery at Idabel, Okla.

Mrs. Kirk was born in the Pauley community in Little River County, Nov. 23, 1888 and lived several years at Cerro Gordo. She was the widow of Rufus C. Kirk. Her parents were the late George W. and Virginia Billingsley Brazil.

Survivors include five sons, France Edward Kirk of Winslow, Ariz.; Rufus Harrell Kirk of Austin, Tex.; Willie Gerald Kirk and Roger Bruce Kirk, both of Lawton, Okla.; and James Lester Kirk of the U.S. Navy; a daughter, Mrs. Marjorie McMaster of Longview Texas; two brothers, Jim Brazil of Texarkana and Edward Brazil of Little Rock; a sister, Mrs. Kate Nix of Horatio; 17 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
