William B. Brazil was my ggrandfather.  I have been looking for information on his family and found your entry on Ancestry.  From all that I have been able to find on William B. Brazil he was first married to Sarah Emeline Cason and then my ggrandmother Sara Jane Chester Mills.  My grand father was Roy Robert Brazil, b. April 15, 1896 in Waldron, Scott County Arkansas.  I thought I would just drop you a note and tell you that I had some information and would share if you are interested.

Thanks,
Cathy Taylor Davenport

Hi Cathy,

It's wonderful to hear from a "connection". I am so grateful that we have the internet to find other people who are interested in genealogy. I would be delighted to receive any information you could provide on the Brazil family. I'm currently a member of a group of people who provide information on this family (if you are interested in joining, let me know).

My information:

Thanks for responding back.  I am sending you a file on what I have on the Brazil's.  I just hope it is a current one.  I recently got a new computer and I have not downloaded my family tree maker software yet.  I hope this is the most recent file.  Would love to have anything you might have on the family that I don't.

Thanks,
Cathy

Hello, I am looking for info on Alsy W. Brazil. My father Bill Henry Brazil died about 1956 in OKC. OK. After that time we had very little contact with his side of the family. I would love to have any or all info I could find on him. I would love to know where the name originated from. My father was dark with dark hair and eyes. I don't recall ever seeing his father, but, I believe he passed one or two years before my father did. I know my father was born in New Mexico and was raised around the Wetumka OK. area. He served in Italy during WW11 and was married to a lady named Earlene and had another son. He changed his name after leaving home from Thomas Lawrence. I don't know the story behind that other than he did not get along with his father. Any and all info you could give me would be really appreciated.
                                                      Thank you in advance,
                                                         Debi Brazil Burleson
